What fanout is
fanout is a cross-posting tool. You write a post once and we publish or schedule it to the social accounts you connect. We also offer AI post suggestions, a comments inbox, analytics, and media uploads. These terms cover your use of fanout at tryfanout.com.
Your account
You must be 18 or older to use fanout. You sign in with Google, and we rely on Google to confirm who you are. Keep your Google account secure — you’re responsible for activity that happens under your fanout account.
Connected social accounts & third-party platforms
We connect your social accounts through our provider Zernio, which holds the platform access tokens on our behalf. You’re responsible for following the rules of each platform you connect — X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, and Telegram. These platforms can change or limit their APIs at any time, and we don’t control that. If you connect YouTube, you’re also agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service.
Your content
You own what you post. By using fanout you give us a licence to store, process, and publish your content only where you tell us to. You’re responsible for having the rights to anything you publish through fanout.
Acceptable use
Don’t use fanout to send spam, publish unlawful or infringing content, or break the rules of a connected platform. Don’t abuse, reverse engineer, or try to disrupt the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Plans, trial and billing
Polar is the merchant of record for fanout subscriptions — Polar charges you, collects any applicable tax, and issues invoices. Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial. A card is required to start a trial; cancel any time during the trial and you won’t be charged. Once you’re charged, that charge is not refundable — cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. Each plan has an account cap; connections above your cap stay connected but can’t be published to until you upgrade or disconnect others. We may change prices with advance notice.
Termination
You can stop using fanout any time. To delete your account, email support@tryfanout.com. We can suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
fanout is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee that every post reaches every platform — platforms can reject, delay, or remove content outside our control. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll notify you by email or in-app notice. Continuing to use fanout after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
